Chairperson Profile
A Visionary Leader Hifjur Rahman Jamil
Hifjur Rahman Jamil, Chairperson of the organisation, graduated from the University of Lancashire in June 2024 and has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to supporting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community.
From a young age, Hifjur has been connected with LGBTQ+ communities and organisations. Since moving to the United Kingdom, he has actively engaged with a number of LGBTQ+ organisations and community initiatives. In 2026, he served as an Ambassador for Manchester Pride and volunteered at Blackpool Pride. He is also a member of Blackburn Proud Rovers and has supported LGBTQ+ causes through fundraising activities for organisations such as LGBT Foundation.
As a Muslim LGBTQ+ activist, Hifjur has faced significant hostility and threats because of his identity, activism and community involvement. While in Bangladesh, he was forced to conceal aspects of his identity and lived with fear and insecurity. Even after relocating to the United Kingdom, he has continued to receive threats related to his LGBTQ+ identity and activism.
Despite these challenges, Hifjur remains deeply committed to promoting equality, inclusion, dignity and safety for LGBTQ+ people. His personal experiences have strengthened his determination to support others facing discrimination, exclusion and hostility. Through his advocacy, volunteering, fundraising and community engagement, he continues to dedicate his time and efforts to improving the wellbeing and visibility of LGBTQ+ people and building a more inclusive community.

Office Administrator Profile
The Backbone of Our Operations Saifur Rahman
Saifur Rahman has served as the Office Administrator of the organisation since its establishment and has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to its mission and the LGBTQ+ community in Bangladesh.
After completing his studies at the National University of Bangladesh, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he established and developed his own construction business. Despite living in a socially and legally conservative environment, he has remained deeply committed to supporting LGBTQ+ community initiatives and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable members of the community.
Throughout his involvement with the organisation, Saifur Rahman has provided consistent financial and practical support. His company has also played an important role in sponsoring the organisation's activities and contributing towards essential needs and community initiatives supporting LGBTQ+ people in Bangladesh.
